2 1/2 year old granddaughter wanted to go play on her swing yesterday eve about 7 PM. I took her out there and she climbed up on the horse. Its kind of a glider deal that looks somewhat like a horse. After about a min she pulled her legs up and started swatting the air and said Paw paw there are spiders on me. That’s when I noticed she covered in a cloud of yellow jackets. I ran and grabbed her up and took off a running. About 3 mph in my case, with them all over us they were in her hair and all over our faces. After we got about 30 yards from them they left us alone but then attacked my old dog. They whelped her all over her face before she could get away from them. Long story made short me and the girl never got a sting. Thank you Lord. PS The yellow jackets where inside her swing glider deal by the hundreds. They now sleep with the fishes.
