Use the JD Oil. It is a heavier weight and will not foam as easy. The noise you hear is air in the oil. : I recently changed the hydraulic fluid in my JD1010 and have noticed the pump making more noise than usual. The manual says to use 10W SAE, the parts man at John Deere says SAE would mess up the seals and suggested I use JD HY-GUARD. With this noise I dont know who to believe. Should I stick with the HY-Guard or switch to something else? Thanks
