I used one for several years. They make good square bales, none of the NH banana bales of the slightly later era. The pick up is the weak area on that baler. The pick up drive chain kept jumping off on mine and i welded a flange on the idler puller. The pick up chain, that the teeth are attached to, can run off the track under the pickup.
Knotters always worked well. A bill hook wore out once, easily replaceable.
Needles are not availiable from NH.
I wasn't thrilled with hand cranking the v 4 Wisconsin motor. Toward the end, I replaced the magneto which improved cranking.
The big tire , a 9:00 by 24, is, or was, expensive. I had a wheel which used 9:00 by 20 truck tires, much cheaper.
