I have a 1965 John Deere 1010, one of the last made, and cannot get the tractor to run right. I have spent a good bite of money with a local tractor mechanic and he tells me the govenor is bad. I need help. He rebuilt the carb twice and tryed to get it adjusted to run right but still cannot get it to my satisfaction. I get it running good at an idle but I smell gas. If we put it under a load it chokes and acts like it is misfireing. Any help would be a great help, thanks.
