A few months ago was another similar show (possibly a pilot for this show ?). Where the owners of a long defunct lace mill /factory ??, allowed this group of 3-4 guys to pick anything that would fit in a pickup box for several hundred $$ one time entry fee. They were instructed that the intact tower clock was off limits, anything else they could fit in the pickup box was fair game.
Except for the tower clock and one really ancient loom, which were off limits, the place had very little to pay back the entry fee. I think they scavenged some old vault inner doors, some old bowling pins and an old adding machine. I really dod not think they got much considering the entry fee.
