rrland, Your scenerio of someone getting a windfall may no longer be considered middle class brings to mind here in Virginia a retired military man who moved here and bought a small farm. He would deer hunt with local hunt club, hang out at local country store, etc, in short tried to fit in. He was well accepted member of community. Well, low and behold he hit the Lotto for about $1m. Suddenly he sealed himself off, surveyed his property, put up fences, locked gates and talked to nobody! That is one reason I never buy Lotto tickets!!LOL!! MONEY AIN"T EVERYTHING!

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
