As you guys know, I went back to work in July. Working 4 10s so I don't have enough home time to get the 2nd cutting mowed & baled on the week ends. Last week end, while talking to my neighbor, I mentioned that I probably wasn't gonna get a 2nd cutting this year because of work schedule. He kinda casually asked me what my plans were for this week end, which I didn't have any. He called me Tuesday night and asked me if I could bale some hay this week end. Told him I sure could if he wanted me to. Got home Thursday evening and had 7 fields (mine) on the ground that had been tedded and were ready to bale Friday. He used my equipment and is one of the few that I let use anything I have. He was here yesterday morning ready to rake for me and will get the bales hauled in this week sometime. Now, I ask you, Isn't that what being a neighbor is all about. Don't think you'd find something like that in the big cities. Hay production was about 25% of what it ws last year, but sure am thankful for what we got and for the neighbors we have here. Keith
