That is hilarious! Back in the mid '80s one of my best friends got married, the bach party and 2-3 day build up to the wedding involved wayyyyyy too much booze and a significant percentage of the local Law Enforcement Community (we all worked for one or the other of the local agencies.) I was one of 2 guys in the wedding party, I assumed the other guy (another of my best friends) was the Best Man and I guess he assumed I was...it was kinda loosely arranged (the reception and after party were well thought out and planned, and probably lasted almost as long as the marriage!), when it came time to give the speech, we looked at each other in that 'I'm lost cuz I been on a 3 day bender way, my Friend jumped up and says "To Wives and Lovers...May they never meet!" The place went nuts with laughter except the table where the Bride's Parents and Grandparents were...

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
