There was a documentary that came out several years ago, calling the moon landing in to question.
They presented some very believable "facts" and it really got you wondering.
I was a young kid at that time of the moon landing, and I was fully wrapped up in space travel. That was a HUGE part of my childhood.
But that documentary was convincing enough for me to have some doubts. I didn't WANT to believe it, it made me sick to think about it.
Over the years I've heard the documentary's "facts" debunked, one by one.
But it really goes to show you the power of television.
It's very easy to believe somebody's bull()*)*( if it's presented in a believable way.
There's no counter argument presented, and you can't counter it yourself against the producer of a documentary that's spent years studying a subject.
It also shows you how a person can "prove" what ever they want if they try hard enough.
If I had enough time, I could prove that the washington monument was built by space aliens - make a documentary about it - have it broadcast all over the us - and for the next 30 years, there would be a percentage of the population that actually believes that aliens built the washington monument.
I hate what that person did to the memory of our space program.
I consider it the pinnacle of our society - the highest point we reached before we started decaying into the downward spiral we're on now.
We've sunk so far as a society now that we can't even believe we made it!

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Not a place one would associate with farms or farm machinery. I credit my parents for instilling a lot of good values, a respect for learning, a knowledge of various skills and a little knowledge of farming in me, amo
