Exactly!! Many years ago I spent considerable time patching up and modifying the exhaust system on a riding lawnmower. The goal was to not only make it quieter, but to also get the heat away from the operater. I used quite a bit of JB weld on that project, and everything looked good. It even actually worked quite well, but only for less than 5 minutes before it all just sort of fell apart right before my eyes as that JB weld melted and burnt away
