Gitrib, I can't thank you enough for posting these great pictures. If you don't mind, I'd like to copy these to my "Mining" folder. Model railroading is my winter past time & there is an iron mine going in on the second level of my train layout. Not really picking one in particular, just using the influences from the mines up north in the iron range, the old Sunrise Mine in Colorado & the borax mine in Trona, California. The photo's just couldn't have come at a better time. Especially of the engines. That TR6 set from Electro-Motive was only about four or five years old when you took those photo's. I am in the process of modelling that engine set & when finished, it will have sound effects, lighting, a complete interior in the cab with engineer figure & a lot of grit & grime. The engines are currently awaiting paint & said weathering job. The cab needs to get finished, too. If there's time in the next day or two, I'll get some pictures posted, if you're interested. I have some video footage of their first run, last winter, but have no idea how to post a video.
