I believe you are supposed to have 1-inch peddle free play. John John is right it is supposed to have 1- inch peddle and the peddel should be 2 3/4 with a vertical look from the floor pan. The cub has a carbon throw-out bearing and it will break up rather quickly when there is clutch problems. I little out of adjustment the wrong way will send carbon pieces going every where.
