I see you're not too far from us. I live in Hilbert, work in Menasha on Midway right across from the UW, and the family farm is on the South side of Kaukauna. We baled 4th crop this weekend, and there is a slight potential for 5th crop. Very slight, but if the frost stays away for a while it could happen.
We're also eyeing up our 3rd cutting from the new seeding. It's tall enough and the clover in it is blossomed out, just gotta figure out when to chop it and where it's going. I want to try getting some off this next weekend to test out the new chopper, but won't do much just a few loads, maybe fill the small silo which holds 9-10 loads of corn. Less if hay.
