Nope, a handshake is a deal, totally different thing. That was crooked.
Now, I got the same deal with a friend of mine, got an old swather in his grove I bought for a few bucks, took the 2 tires I needed from it & 'get around to getting it' someday. He also 'gave me' 2 old grain augers, I'll get around to it someday. If I get over there years later now & the stuff is gone, I got my value out of it & he had a neucence at his place while I 'got around' to it, I wouldn't be too put out, I'd see his point on it all if it's no longer there for 'free'.
We have a failure to communicate here, Dave. I'll try not to put words in your mouth, because I don't understand your position on this. I could make all sorts of remarks about your charcter, because it appears you somehowe are upset a fella didn't ship something to you for free shipping, but got a better deal selling it to someone else in an unrealated deal.
That, to me, seems to be your point.
Anything else, the fella made a deal on his stuff with someone else, by what we know both sides of that transaction were happy & got what they wanted, so why is it my or your business to call either side into question? Everyone went away happy - but you.
Make it look like you are envious of the deal somehow, and - well we gotta make our list of you too..... Because, I don't really understand how you would have any superior moral ground on this - you appear to be upset someone else got a better deal than you did, and to be honest, that makes you look kinda small to me....
Again, just fun chat, don't mean nothing, too hot for this fat old farmer to stay outside all day so sit in front of the fan from time to time & enjoy a reason to waste a few minutes typing. :)
