kids today can go either way, i got lucky, and i know it, son is starting his second 8 year hitch in the navy has a good high tech job, he cant tell me much about it for security but it has something to do with fire control computers on ships, daughter is starting post grad classes working on her masters, degree, neither gave us much in the way of 'incidents' growing up sis's kid, well he was raise to believe anything he did was just fine no matter what it was, mommy would bail him out of whatever, now after numerous run ins with the law, he got him a degree in welding, had some hope for him,, sis set him up with a new mobile, the largest single wide they make, he has 3 pickups, supplied by sis, took a welding job in a factory, didnt even have to work out in the elements, sweet deal, i thought, but no, he was making 15 per hour, top wadges for a kid fresh out of school, but because his instructor told him he was 'worth 30 per hour,[ i told him he had to pay his dues, he might be worth 30 per hour after he's been there 10 years but he had to remember there is men with 35 years experience wanting that job too] he gave it all up, just walked away from all of it, now he lives back home with mommy, got all his druggie friends dropping by too, dont recon he'll ever be worth anything now
