I beleive your allowed to bring certain rifles and shotguns up here. I'd imagine you want all the documentation you have on the guns. Radar detectors are LEGAL in Saskatchewan. Doesn't mean they'll let them across the border though(federal law, so it depends if the federal govt. frowns upon it.) Make sure you bring your passport. Speedlimits are from 62-68 mph on most of the bigger highways. Fuel should be (at the cheapest) $4.39/gallon. Be ready for a wait at the border. Don't ever answer with any smart as$ replies. You'd think that's a given, but some people are just too smart for their own good. Just reply with straight foward, fully honest replies. Have you passport ready, also make sure to have you drivers license and insurance papers ready too. Won't likely be asked for it, but they may do random checks to insure your insured. They want some sort of documentation on the dog and proof of rabies shot, and obviously he/she must be in good health. Your only allowed so much ammo before paying tax on it, but it will be difficult to attain it in Canada unless you find a Canadian friend with a PAL(possession and acquisition license). If you have ANY type of criminal record you'll want to talk to Canadian Border Services Agency to see if it will affect your ability to cross the border.
