Glad to hear your yields are mostly good. Seeing the wagons reminds me of the first time I ever drove a four wheel drive tractor. The tractor was a loose jointed old 8630 Deere. I was told to hop in the 8630 with the Triggs wagon and go catch the combine to unload on-the-go. The combine was a 2388 doing about 6 MPH. I got the job done without running into the corn head but there were some hair raising driving going on before I got the knack of it. Talk about trial by fire! There should be a lot of time for your bossies to glean those stalks this fall. Jim

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
