The dealer is probably pretty close to what it's wholesale value is. You would probably get somewhat more selling privately... ie, you'll get his margin. Mabey. As noted already... the 1500 is a 70's era compact and a good many parts are NLA or only available in expensive assemblies that are worth more than the tractor. My advice to anyone buying one today is always the same... don't pay more than you can afford to lose because you never know when you might end up scrapping it.
