So most folks here think it's wrong, how come we haven't written our congressperson and complained? A couple of million well written letters demanding that this is changed AND requiring consequences for welfare fraud that insures it won't happen again (like NO MORE WELFARE UNTIL YOU PAY BACK WHAT YOU STOLE) and they might do something. But then again I think the current bunch in Washington is deliberately trying to upset us enough so we won't vote for them, must be some kind of golden parachute the passed for them selves. Another idea- how about no pension for congress/senator until you've done 20 years AND any term that ends with you losing re-election doesn't count towards the 20?
