I have said it before and will again and again. Back in the 30s we sold a lot of scarp iron to Japan then in 1941 they sent it back at us in bombs etc. Then at the end of the war there was a guy who came out with a quality control way of doing thing. The U.S. industry did not want it but Japan bought it and now days they produce some of the best made stuff in the world. Now fast forward to today. China is buying as much scrap as they can. Why well so they can do the same thing as was done in 1941. Back in the late 30s the stuff you could buy from Japan was believed to be well as the saying was Japanese junk quiks quickly

Today's Featured Article - 12-Volt Conversions for 4-Cylinder Ford 2000 & 4000 Tractors - by Tommy Duvall. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
