Yeah, it kinda makes you sick. The ironic part is that there are people looking for this stuff all the time, and then there are morons that don't mind crushing it. About 13 years ago I was forced by the Azzes that rule our county to dispose of about twenty collectible vehicles. They included 64 Dodge hardtops, 69 Super Bee, 69 Coronet 500 and a regular 69 Coronet, all 2dr hdtps. Several early 50's Fords. At least I was able to sell them to a recycler who specialized in collectible autos and parts. About four years ago I got a phone call one night, fella said he had bought 69 Dodge Coronet that had been sold twice since but no one could find the title and that it was still in my name. I had given all the titles to the dealer when he bought the cars. So we applied for a "lost title" and at the same time they transferred it to his name. Said he was going to fix it up for his wife. Haven't heard from him since but I have a feeling that at least one of those cars is still in existence.
