Hydraulic problem.

I have a MF 135 about a 1971 mod.When I
hook the bush hog to the three point hitch,
and lift it there is no problem. BUT when I put
a lift pole on the three point hitch, I can barely
pick up anything.
I cant even lift a wood pole 20 feet long. I tried
moving the rope from the tip of the lift pole toward
the tractor,but it still wont pick it up.
Any help would be great.
