Thank you for your inputs. Most comments focused on fuel or lack of fuel flow to the pony carburetor. However, holding the outlet hose level with the carburetor, the fuel flowed freely THROUGH THE INLINE FILTER at the rate of 8 ounces per 20 seconds. When I quickly pull the run lever to the left (out of its detent position) it reminds me of the sound of an un-muffled big four barrel carburetor on a muscle car before the engine kicks into high RPMs. WHAAAAAA!! As I stated earlier, I can tease it up to speed and usually kick the Diesel over enough to start but only if I catch it on the first one or two puffs at full compression. Otherwise the pony loses rpm and dies.
