Harold that is good to hear. My wife always did better at home. Real food and not someone poking at you all the time. We had the home health care nurse come by twice a week. For rehab her doctor told her to walk as much as she could every day.Don't let her sit in the chair 24 hours a day. Have her move when she can and feels like it. You may have to help her around. She will probably complain but it will be worth it.Sounds cruel but don't wait on her all the time. Make her do somethings by herself. My wife told me. She was mad at me for doing it to her at first. But then it made her feel good knowing somethings she could still do herself. Good therapy I guess.
Along with the bars and other handicap equipment. I put in the nonskid pads in the bath tub. Also the health care people gave us a chair that went into the tub so she could sit down and take a bath.
