Google Henry"s Farm. It's in central IL. His system is to grow vegetables, etc and get customers to suscribe to getting a box of produce at an agreed on interval. We went by there on a recent trip to IA but no one was home and maybe we weren't where he was doing most of his work. Daughter had read his book, "The sustainable Farm", and wanted us to stop by and see it. She is not intested in doing that, but does garden enthustically and writes a newspaper column about it. She grew up with us gardening. My position on gardening is that it is some of the most profitable farming a person can do, not because you can sell produce, but because you can save on your food costs.
