I think you're better off using the Lithium throw away batteries. I got 10 months on my camera and decided to change the batteries before it got cold out. They were still working and good enough for my remotes in the house but figured with winter on the way they'd be done. Takes 8 AA batteries.
I have a Bushnel Bone Collecter 8 mega pixel and it takes great color pictures in the daylight... and so-so black and white pictures in the dark.
Was thinking that I might get better shots if I put the camera up higher pointing down? Just figured deer aren't very tall so I shot for eye level.
In these pictures the doe was about 50 feet away from the camera. Turkey would've been about 15 feet and my dog running down the hill at about 20 foot away. Could be that if I had the camera up higher pointing down maybe I'd get better infrared flash reach?
