A goats personality depends very heavily upon how they're raised.
I've got a young daughter - so most of ours are lap-goats (they WILL try to hop onto your lap if you're sitting). Most are bottle fed at an early age and very used to abundant amounts of attention.
We used to let them roam freely, but they are so friendly they're quite a nuisance.
They all want to stand right against you and either rub their horns on you or nibble on your pants. God forbid you ever drop something you don't want them to eat.
We keep them behind an electric fence now - but there's one that's willing to take the shock every day to get out.
Every day - she dives through the fence and goes up and lays on our deck. She positions herself so she can spy on the others through a crack in the fence - all day long, that's all she does. Sits there spying.

Today's Featured Article - Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned.
