Also complained about how the younger generation was lacking in respect for their elders, had little motivation in life, seemed to want everything for free, had no interest in the gods and were generally not much good for anything, in his opinion. So it seems like this complaint has been going on for a long, long time. And yet, every generation has had the fortitude to rise to their challenges and keep the world mostly rolling along.
