Hi, I am quite familiar with the Ford N series tractors and have a few in my possesion now. Have restored them all. Now, a new opportunity is facing me....A cub...I know very little about them but I can fix up almost anything. My question is this.....How does one differentiate between a regular cub and a low-boy....I have the serial num. from the tractor I am looking at....1184...it has chrome "international" labels in reccesed plains running the length of the hood, and based on all that I have seen online that makes it either a 48 Cub, or a Cub low-boy of early origins....can anyone please inform a Cub dumb, old tractor lover how to distinguish the two apart? And is there any difference in the value of them in restored condition? They command a high price in my local. Any help appreciated.
