The mag DOES NOT fire on TDC. It should fire on SPARK. Crank it only 1/4 turn at the time. I position my crank at 9 o'clock and pull it over the top. Started on 3rd crank yesterday after sitting for a year. Be sure throttle is set to fast. (pushed in). It should have enough compression to take some ump to crank it. If it has been sitting squirt some oil in the cylinders. The flywheel should have TDC and SPARK on it and you can see this when you open the little cover over the flywheel. It is on the right side of the engine when facing the radiator.
