Who would have thought a bunch of North Vietemese with outdated weapons and wearing sandels, and living out of tunnels could have defeated the major military powers the time like Australia, Great Britian, and the US???? All it takes is a small, determined force and guerilla warfare to take down pretty much any power. Thing is none of those weapons mentioned are of much real use against a small, determined, highly mobile force. In fact that's why our troops haven't already "won" in Iraq, or Afghanistan, and why the Russians got their a$$es handed to them in Afghanisan when they were there the first time......

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
