Many of you wanted me to let you know how my foot surgery went. I had it last Wednesday morning at 7am and our internet was down then unitl today. I don't regret having the foot surgery, it's just a pain getting around. I had crutch therapy and I highly recommend it for any one with up coming surgery that may require them afterwards. They give you some great pointers. Any way what I had done was two bunions removed one behind the my big toe and one behind my little toe. Plus the long bone behind my big toe was growing and angled toward my other foot. So he cut a wedge in the back end of that bone and screwed it in place then by doing that he had to shorten the long bone behind my second toe or it was pron to fracture he said since he moved the bone behind the big toe. Hope you're not to squimish about the pictures. My foot really swelled up from the extensive surgery. For three days it had a dull pain that felt like a railroad spike went thru my foot. Down to two Vicodin painpills twice a day now since Sunday.
