Not a mouse but my dad seldom wore shoes in the summer, when he did it was only to siene minnows to fish with. One morning he left the house about 4 am heaed to the river, as he always did he slipped on his shoes that were left outside on the "rock" it seems a Toad had moved in the shoe. Old man thought SNAKE and woke up the whole house. He didn't wear socks and enertained kids by lighting a match on his heel. no wonder I'm crazy.
