I missed one incision the last time you posted, he bit you 3 times !!! I'd have to think its quite sore, but then again, there's likely a lot worse things in life too LOL ! One of them not being able to get on your tractor when you need to, and I'll bet by now, you need to LOL ! In any event get well and heal up soon, thought maybe you'd enjoy my experience with this:
I did the same darned thing before hand, had all this wood to put up, kind of wet and frozen, but that's no problem for the ole Ashley to dry out, worked out pretty good, black cherry drys fast, so I pick the driest wood, the heat dries the rest and in a weeks time its good, last winter was so mild and dry I sure wish I did not have this surgery then.
Before photo, it felt like someone stuffed a 3/8 fuel line under the skin, ganglion cyst elongated, doctor says from arthritis, I say it probably did not help to get stepped on by a big ole mare, and the impact of a 18' 6x6 in '06 which fell when I put the posts in by myself (note to self do not attempt this again) for a 20'x 32' pole barn. He had to remove this mass, and trace it to the roots and get all of it so it don't come back and with the way the human foot is, there is a lot of things including nerves, tendons and so on in the way.
2 days in, finally enough power to get a fire going, sat and looked at the pile of wood for 2 days, thats nice..... sure would be great if some of that would jump into the stove and catch on fire LOL ! Well the cooler air downstairs made for low chances of infection, don't mind the wood debris, did not have time to sweep or vacuum, hey, its a man cave with all the trimmings, storage totes, some clutter, a pile of wood, digital cable tv and an old stove guarded by a person not so old by age, but wear LOL !
Ok, 1 week in, had enough of the cast and crutches, thankfully it was not "mechanical" the surgery that is, but he did scoop out degenerated bone matter from my ankle joint, I cannot imagine what was going on with my foot while I was out !
