Went to the first tractor show in quite a while yesterday. Took the '27 McDeeering 15-30 and hauled my brother and his '63 Ford 2000 with me.
After a long hard pull to the show we found that the Ford was leaking fuel badly from the tank sender and Big Mc just wasn't feeling well. The little Ford had to tow Big Mc from the trailer to the show grounds and pull start me a couple of times when I just tuckered out from crank duty. I finally did get Big Mc running well enough to cruise around on and back to the trailer.
After a cool windy day with mist we headed back to the trailer to reload and I was snake bit again. I let Big Mc get away from me and it rolled back about 8 feet into the Ford and took out it's radiator. Grrrrrrr! So after another long drive we were breaking out the wrenches and yanking out the radiator to take it to the shop.
Oh well some days just don't go as planned.... but I guess that just goes with the hobby.
