right or wrong in know people on both sides on this, i deal with cutting lubes, drawing lubes etc for our company, i have a good friend that was the pres for a large chemical company. you would be surprised if you knew how many compounds are only suppled 1 or 2 companys and they are just renamed and sold. as long as it say it meets the spec for that brand you should be ok. i have used store brand stuff for years as long as it says it meets specs for the pc of eqpt. i have used in my mf 750 combine, cih 1680 and all my ih and case tractors and not had anything happen due to the fluided be used in them, however i do change filter in everything each year no matter what the hours. just my 2 cents.
