We just replaced our old Tarm wood gasification boiler with a new AHS boiler that is built like the old Eshlund design and are very happy with it. It burns firewood or pellets or sawdust or whatever wood products you have(we do firewood). If your only need for hydronic heat is the living room floor it seems like you wouldn't need a very big heating device, so I am wondering if there wouldn't be some sort of electric heater that would do that, or how small of a boiler you can get. It would seem like buying a boiler that is way bigger than you need is going to be expensive and may not be the most efficient method. Zach

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
