I play guitar and banjo, and I can play a fiddle to some degree. Got a dobro in the spring and have been having all kinds of fun with that, but still have a long way to go. I have an accordion that I mess around with but I never learned to do more than play the melody and push the chord buttons, maybe someday. I build banjos and fiddles in my free time, and have built one mandolin but have not learned to lay it. 55 50 Ron builds really nice violins, he is on this site fairly often. Zach

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
