1. I don't see anything coming from this. Bail outs from space craft? Come on. Space craft at that altitude are traveling so fast that bail outs are not likely to be successful. Plus at the speeds they are traveling when things go wrong it happens so quick that time to bail out becomes doubtful.
2. He's a stunt man for Red Bull to get them publicity. He isn't doing this for research, he's doing it for MONEY! Come on, a guy sets out to be the fastest hot dog eater and he's a joke.......one guy uses his mouth to set records, this guy is using gravity......big deal. I fail to see this as news worthy.
3. I'm not sure if that is courage or stupidity. The guy flying the balloon most likely collected more data in the ascent and decent than the jumper.
4. I'm glad he was successful but not really impressed. He jumped with a device to auto open a chute should he pass out. Heck you could have suited up a monkey and tossed him out and gotten the same results.
