Has anyone ever owned a vehicle with a decent jack? Wife had a flat on her 07 Toyota, I jacked it up took the tire off and fixed it, but when I went to raise the car up the additional few inches needed for the inflated tire it slid forward off the jack. I was using the recommended jack point and was on level ground, using a 2x6 block under the jack since I was on the gravel drive. I have gone to keeping bottle jacks in my pickups, harder to use under the car, but between the junker jack and the bottle jack I got the tire on.
