It may have more traction but may not actually get more power to the ground. Lot of the compacts have hydro trannies that eat HP just to move the tractor where the old tractos actually only used a couple of ponies to drive the tractor in 1st, pulling nothing on flat ground. Good example was the old garden tractors. Same models setting side by side, one gear the other hydro. The gear tractors used right at 1 HP to drive while the hydros used 3. I think your tractor is gear so you may get that power to the ground but if it has shuttle on it you dump HP there.
I have a couple of N's and work them hard. I'd love to be able to replace one with a Compact.
