Fuji Heavy Industries also own Mitsubishi. Robin/Subaru are the number one small engine in Japan. Wisconsin was the Robin distributor in N. America for many years but Robin decided to market their engines themselves when the agreement ran out. Robin engines are marketed as industrial engines where as Honda's could be sold by just about anyone. Robin engines are every bit as good or better than Honda engines and so are their generators and other power equipment. Look at a JD inverter generator, it's a Robin/Subaru as is some other JD branded equipment.
