fence is fine, just the type... Long story but once the nature friends get a hold in an area, things get harder. Inside the town limits, you are pretty free but outside is looked at.... I mentioned it on here a year or so ago about offering to clean up a neighbor's place (junk) for a couple pieces he had and I wanted. All the patriotic "it's my right to be a slob" folks jumped in and told me what an idiot I was and it was none of my business.. Well, guess what...County (??) had someone clean it and sent him a bill, he told them to take the property (maybe 1/8th acre)... County took it and the buddy system kicked in and it got handed over to the local nature preserve (lack of better words) folks... So someone is always there snooping around what the neighboring places are doing. The Tposts were a hard sell but we already had a foot in the door. None of the areas outside town were fenced when we moved in so there was nothing to compare to and I had rented and had fences up before anyone knew what was going on. As long as they look neat, no problems... Why I live here?
my car sets on the street in front of or around the corner from the house with the doors unlocked and key in the ignition.
In 22 years I've had 3 things stolen (all three by Americans)
The nature thing and a couple other little things are inconvenient, but you don't drive down a country road and see housetrailers everywhere someone could get the minimum acreage and park one.
