Massey Ferguson had some tie up with the Spanish govt back in the 60s. Believe it or not Ebro used to build Fordson Major Diesel tractors under licence from Ford, Following the MF deal they still built Fordson Majors BUT with Massey Ferguson hoods and called them Massey Ferguson 155s. Somewhere down the line they started to fit Perkins engines, then MF dropped out and they went back to painting the tractors blue with more modern hoods, but the transmissions were still Fordson majors, though the front axles were very much MF. Today's Featured Article - Product Review: Black Tire Paint - by Staff. I have been fortunate in that two of my tractors have had rear tires that were in great shape when I bought the tractor. My model "H" even had the old style fronts with plenty of tread. My "L" fronts were mismatched Sears Guardsman snow tires, which I promptly tossed.
