My friend Dexter (Horses and Alligators) Told this story at the after the Church dinner while folks were having dessert. A friend of his Mother had turned her chair around behind him and was listening to the story while she ate her chocolate cake. When He and his Wife were first married money was tight they both worked and were trying to fix up the old house he inherited. He left for work earlier than she did and when he got to the job there was a message waiting to call home. He calls and wife says "I tried to start the car this morning and made a horrible noise I think the starter must be bad could you come home and look at it?" While she fretted about how much the cost of a new starter would set them back Dexter drives home. When he gets there she meets him at the car and he reaches in and turns the key and it won't start. He opens the hood and looks at the engine and He turns around and asks Her "That horrible noise you heard did it sound like MEEEEEOOOOOOOOWWWW!!!!!!". She says yeah that's it do you think were going to need another starter? He says no but we are definitely going to need another cat..... That's when he got chocolate cake all over his best white shirt. Ron
