Got a call this morning from a fella Im aquainted with, said I got a JD 6 ton wagon gear in my yard and am tired of looking at it. Before I got real excited he said one rear tire dont want to roll and the tires are bad shape with a couple flat. I ask the price, $50. I say I will be right over to check it out. Get a car hauling trailer,go over and its not so bad. Pay,load it, and bring it home. Hook it to the H to pull it from the trailer. All four wheels roll fine. Tires are so heavy that air or not they will roll around till I get some other ones. Decided to see how well it pulls as it seemed real tight. It pulled down the road straight as an arrow. My question is; is there a way to identify model number? It is expandable up to 16 or so foot. 15" wheels.Square tubing frame.Think the wheels are 6 bolt.Have to recheck. The man told me where he got it from and was insistant that the told him it was a 6 ton gear. I dont care one way or another, its going to be a toy to me. Look out Beatle65 I have one peice now and am on a roll.LOL
