This is tractor related because I have parts coming today for the Jubilee I'm redoing but my wife said I can't play with my tractors until I fix the truck! It's a 1995 Ford F150 with 316,ooo miles on a 4.9 six. I started it to head to work last week and it died. I noticed I couldn't hear the fuel pump(and it is loud)so I figure thats it. It has dual tanks but the other one died years ago. So I order a pump drop the tank and put it in tried to start and wouldn't. Checked the fuse, blowed, go get another fuse and tried, blowed. I think well maybe I wired the pump wrong and unhooded the wires, put in another fuse and when I turn on the key it blows. I replaced the relay put in another fuse turn om key, blows. I'm assuming being that this happens without the pump even hooked up the problem is somewhere before it gets back there. If anybody has any suggestions please let me know. I want to work on my tractor! Thanks.
