No lie. Susquehanna only drains most of one state, not half the country like the Big Muddy. But most of what it drains is also not flat like you all in the central US have. The Susquehanna is the upper feeder into the Chesapeake depression, and can dump a spectacular amonut through in a few days, especially during the spring thaws with all the ice jams breaaking up. But it also floods several times a year, especially after heavy storms up into Pennsylvania such as Sandy and Agnes some thirty years ago.
