I am not a lawyer but I think that pension fund is not GM property. But I may be wrong. The company and employees pay into but I think the fund is separate from the company. But look on the other side of this mess. How many of you guys would be complaining if all these people were out of a job at one time. Same with Ford . They aren't in the clear. If any of their partly owned suppliers go belly-up they can possible get caught in the ness too. Ford has went through this the second time so they had some experience that helped them a lot. They are doing great so far.
