Anyone deal with this place?
http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/index.php
I registered there a couple times...thought with the 86 Ford 1/2 ton it might be an interesting place to swap stories..
Say a couple times because I'd gotten no response and so sent the boss there an email asking what the deal was. Got a response last week...around 3 weeks after having sent it..dude was pretty rude..
Who are you? Whats your name? Whats your password? ...I can't do anything for you unless you tell me right now kinda attitude!!
So, I sent all that he asked for and at the end got a little ticked off and suggested that I wasn't a spammer..they got all unglued and sent big graphic denials of this and that...Sent back a msg that the site really wanted excess info..birthdate..sign disclaimer, location..referred by..truck mileage, useage.
So finally got tired of his bs and told him the information was excessive and he could take his site and fold it where the moon don't shine
He sent back that with 600000 members it was a security preventative thing...and that I was clueless about such things...
Maybe it was just me...
